LEGAL NOTICES 2026
NOTICE Pursuant to the provisions of P.L. 2025, c.72, all legal notices required by law for the Township of Morris including notices from the Township Committee, Planning Board, Board of Health, Environmental Commission, Recreation Commission, Zoning Board, and all other Boards and Committees, will be published on the Township’s official website starting March 1, 2026. The complete text of each legal notice will be available free of charge at Official Public Notices | Morris Township, NJ - Official Website with a direct link from the home page (https://www.morristwp.com/) and follow the link entitled “Legal Notices”.
Notices will continue to be published in the Township’s designated newspapers accordingly and as required under the Open Public Meetings Act N.J.S.A. 10:4-6-21 until March 1, 2026 after which publication on the Morris Township’s website will serve as the primary posting mechanism. This notice will continue to be published twice a month through December 31, 2026 and beginning March 1, 2026 the Township of Morris will transition fully to electronic publication of all future legal notices as authorized under the statute. The New Jersey Secretary of State shall establish and maintain a legal notice hyperlinks Internet webpage by March 1, 2026 and the link will be available on the public notices page once provided by the state.
