BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
LEGAL NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that at the Re-organization and Special meeting of the Township of Morris Board of Adjustment held on Monday, March 5th, 2026, at 7:00 P.M., in the Municipal Building, 50 Woodland Avenue, Township of Morris, the following action was taken:
Re-Organization Meeting:
Elected Chairperson – Paul Woodford
Elected Vice-Chairperson – Lee Goldberg
Appointed Board Secretary – Ryan Kurpat
Adopted formal resolutions in full accordance with the provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1, et seq., without competitive bidding, appointing the following professionals:
Board Attorney – Richard L. Oller, Esq.
Planning Consultants – Elizabeth Leheny, AICP, PP, Kate Keller, AICP, PP
Engineering Consultant – Joseph Vuich, PE, PP, CME
Traffic Consultant – John Jahr, PTP, TSOS
Adopted a formal resolution specifying that beginning March 1, 2026, all public notices, including those of all boards, commissions, and committees, will be posted on the Township website at www.morristwp.com in compliance with P.L. 2025, c.72. In addition, applicants shall be required to post notices of hearings in an eligible online news publication pursuant to N.J.S.A. 35:3-3
Adopted the following formal resolution setting meeting dates for 2026, and January 2027:
NOTICE OF SCHEDULED MEETINGS
FOR THE YEAR 2026 AND JANUARY 2027
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Adjustment of the Township of Morris, County of Morris, State of New Jersey, will meet to consider and act upon public business at 7:00 P.M., prevailing time, on each of the dates set forth below, for the year 2026 and January 26, 2027, in the Municipal Building, 50 Woodland Avenue, Township of Morris, New Jersey or via Zoom Platform:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that additional meetings, if required, will be at the call of the Chairman with the proper notification, and

a.) Post said meeting schedule and maintain the same posted throughout the year 2026 on the bulletin board in the Municipal Building of the Township of Morris on Woodland Avenue;
b.) Publish a copy of the same on the Township of Morris website at https://www.morristwp.com

The applicant was granted a front yard setback variance and expansion of a non-conforming structure.
