In order to canvass within Morris Township, you must complete an application. Once you have completed the application, please contact the Morris Township Detective Bureau to make an appointment. Walk-ins will not be seen immediately. Please follow all directions on the application and then call 973-326-7480 to make an appointment with one of our detectives.
Please remember the following:
- Permit holders shall be allowed to solicit Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a,m, and 9 p,m. We request that you attempt to cease solicitation before dusk out of respect for our residents, although this is not mandatory.
- All permits expire at the end of the calendar year on December 31.
- Any failure to prominently display the canvass permit while engaged in soliciting will result in the revocation of the canvassing permit.
