Notice of Public Hearing
NOTICE is hereby given that the following ordinance was duly introduced and passed upon first reading at a meeting of the Township Committee of the Township of Morris, a municipal corporation of the State of New Jersey (the “Township”), that was held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. The ordinance will be further considered for final passage, after public hearing thereon, at a Special meeting of the Township Committee to be held at the Municipal Building 50 Woodland Avenue, Morristown, NJ 07960 on Wednesday, March 9, 2026 at 6:00 pm. (in-person and as a courtesy via Zoom) The title and summary of the ordinance is as follows:
ORDINANCE NO. 04-26
AMENDING CHAPTER 95, ZONING, OF THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MORRIS BY ADDING THE MF-TH/AH ZONE, AND ADOPTING ASSOCIATED REGULATIONS, an ordinance adding the MF-TH/AH Multifamily/Townhouse Residential Affordable Housing Zone, and related regulations, and amending the Zoning Map to change Block 9301, Lot 8 from the OL-15 zone to the MF-TH/AH zone.
