PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Planning Board of the Township of Morris held its regular meeting on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 7:00 P.M. in the Municipal Building, 50 Woodland Avenue, Convent Station, New Jersey, and took the following action:
PB-16-25, Morris County Sheriff’s Department, Block 1901, Lot 1, 540 W. Hanover Avenue, OS-GU zone. Adopted a formal resolution of approval, memorializing the action taken by the Board at the February 2, 2026 meeting.
NOTICE OF ADOPTION, the Planning Board of the Township of Morris adopted the Township’s Amended Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan dated March 2, 2026. A Copy of the Township’s adopted Amended Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan 2026 is available for review on our website at https://www.morristwp.com/1350/Affordable-Housing, and in the office of the Planning Board, Engineering Department, located at 50 Woodland Avenue, Convent Station, NJ, during normal business hours, Monday through Friday.
Adopted formal resolutions on referrals from the Township Committee finding the following ordinances consistent with the Township of Morris Master Plan.
Ordinance 04-26 – Amending Chapter 95, Zoning, by adding the MF-TH/AH Zone and adopting associated regulations (60 Columbia Road, Block 9301, Lot 8)
Ordinance 05-26 – Amending Chapter 95, Zoning, by adding the TH-8/AH-2 Zone and adopting associated regulations (221A/227 Sussex Avenue, Block 601, Lots 16 and 18)
Ordinance 06-26 – Amending Chapter 95, Zoning, by adding the TH-15/AH Zone and adopting associated regulations (300 Madison Avenue, Block 8601, Lot 4)
