PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Township of Morris has received approval from the New Jersey Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services, Records Management Services, for the use of an electronic imaging system for the storage of public records, in accordance with N.J.A.C. 15:3-2.1 et seq.
Certain public records of the Township may be maintained in electronic format, and the electronic image shall constitute the official record. Original paper records may be destroyed in accordance with approved records retention schedules.
Information regarding the Township’s imaging system registration is available through the New Jersey Records Management Services Imaging Registration Database and may also be inspected during normal business hours in the Office of the Municipal Clerk, Morris Township Municipal Building.
