Dear Residents:

As of Thursday afternoon, there is 29 presumptive cases of COVID-19 in the State of New Jersey, of which just one case is in all of Morris County.  We all must remain vigilant to keep this virus from spreading to and within our community.
To update our residents with latest data on Coronavirus (COVID-19) in our area please see the  New Jersey Department of Health’s newly developed COVID-19 dashboard to help residents track positive cases by county.

The Morris Township Health Officials are coordinating the local response and working with the County of Morris Health Officials and Office of Emergency Management for the regional response as well as consulting with other local healthcare authorities.
Morris Township has cancelled all non-essential public meetings.  A decision will be made by Monday whether the Planning Board meeting scheduled that day would take place or be cancelled.

Please continue good hygiene habits with frequent hand-washing every hour and practice proper social distancing by keeping 6-feet away from other people if possible.
As pertinent information is received concerning this pandemic it will be disseminated and posted on the Township Website and Facebook.
