Township of Morris Parks & Recreation Department will host one of the six- event Tri Harder Kid’s Triathlon Series for children ages 4 through 14.
The event is co-sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Dept., the Township of Morris Police Department, Marty’s Reliable Cycle, and the Morris Township Manatees Swim Team.
The Township of Morris Tri-Harder Kid’s Triathlon is scheduled for Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 8:30 AM, beginning at Ginty Community Swim Pool.
Additional triathlon events for children in this series will be held in Byram, Roxbury, Westfield, Randolph, Denville and Hanover.
Check-in for the Morris Township event will begin at 7:30 AM. Pre-registration is required & event participant numbers are limited, so we recommend early registration. The registration fee is $15.00 per child. Register at the Parks & Recreation Dept. office or on-line at https://www.bikereg.com/tri-harder-kids-triathlon-series-morris-township REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS JULY 12th at 3:00 PM for the Township of Morris event.
The Tri-Harder Kids Triathlon will feature age appropriate swimming at Ginty Pool, a bicycling leg on local neighborhood streets and distance runs at Ginty Field:

Note: * Ages 4 - 6 swimmers may wear swim vests or swimming aids. Parents may ride or run with this age child in the bicycling segment.
The Tri-Harder Kid’s Triathlon series stresses the joy of participation, the importance of wholesome physical activity, and season-long training & enjoyment. The local events are recreational in nature, with no specific place timing, only general timing. Participation ribbons will be given to all registrants. Additional Sponsors for the event are welcome.
