The committee will be comprised of two (2) members of the Township Committee, seven (7) citizen volunteers and several Township professionals from the Engineering, Police, Parks and Recreation, and Administration Departments.
The Transportation Advisory Committee’s primary purpose is to explore, study, and make advisory recommendations to the Township Committee on ways to improve travel, circulation and transportation modes to include walking, biking, driving, and parking in Morris Township. In making recommendations, the Transportation Advisory Committee will consider factors such as safety, convenience, accessibility and connectivity within Morris Township and surrounding entities.
