Performing and Visual Arts
Performing and Visual Arts venues perform classical to modern music, dance routines, contemporary plays, and presentations. Choral Societies are amateur volunteer singers that perform classical to modern music, sometimes accompanied by instruments. Operas and Light Operas are staged dramas set to music with instrumental accompaniment. Theater lists community centers presenting musicals, plays, dance, comedy, talks and contemporary music. Music includes organizations by type of music performed at local facilities: classical, traditional, folk, opera, choral and jazz. Concerts in the Park feature seasonal outdoor music.
