Vital Statistics:
At Your Service |
- Birth Certificates are filed with the Registrar of Vital Statistics in the town where the birth occurred.
- Certified copies are $15.00 each effective 6/18/07.
- One (1) photo ID, or two (2) other forms of ID must be presented upon request.
- To request certified copies by mail, please contact the Department of Health.
- For people who were born at Morristown Memorial Hospital, you would contact the Registrar of Vital Statistics in Morristown at 200 South Street or by phone at (973) 292-6638.

- To request certified copies by mail, please mail the appropriate fee (check made payable to "Township of Morris"), along with the name of the bride and groom; date of marriage; a copy of photo ID for bride and/or groom; and the address to which the copy should be mailed. Certified copies are mailed the day your request is received.
