SEASONAL LIFEGUARDS AND SWIM INSTRUCTORS

- Summary
- Lifeguards are responsible for the safety and well being of individuals using the Township of Morris swimming pool facilities. This includes: Being alert; preventing situations that may result in accidents or injury; administering first aid and rescues appropriately and promptly; and tactfully enforcing pool rules and regulations.
Lifeguards are responsible for assisting with routine pool maintenance, custodial duties, and other tasks as assigned by supervisors. Good public relations skills must be exhibited at all times. Work schedules will vary. Swim Instructors teach weekday group swimming instructional programs and also serve as shift lifeguards.
